Nutrifield Jiffy Pots and Jiffy 7 are your 100% biodegradable rapid propagation growing medium. They are produced from Canadian Sphagnum Peat moss and wood pulp. Due to this composition they prevent root spiraling and binding, while promoting strong feeder roots. 

To ensure you treat your seedlings delicately, grow in Jiffy Pots, and once the roots grow right through the pot, you simply plant the whole thing into the soil/soil replacement medium without disturbing the roots.
